I spent many of the early years in my sewing career writing quilt patterns. For five years I did nothing but design patterns and attempt to bring them to the quilting market. It turned out to be a much more difficult challenge than I could ever have anticipated because the main fabric came from a recycled material that quilt shops did not sell.
All of my patterns were unique in that the main fabric was denim from old and upcycled jeans. Fast forward many years and I am still very proud of these patterns and continue to sell them in my Etsy shop, Inventive Denim.
